Our team
David Moresi, Owner
A seasoned entrepreneur with a broad portfolio spanning real estate, development, construction, electrical services, local business investment, and property management, he brings a hands-on, detail-driven approach to building and managing successful projects.
Inspired by his Italian heritage and the influence of his father, Robert Moresi- namesake of “Zio Roberto”- he developed a deep passion for authentic Italian cuisine and hospitality. That passion led him to assemble a skilled team and create Zio Roberto Ristorante in downtown North Adams, blending tradition, quality, and community in a thoughtfully curated dining experience.
Peter Belmonte, Executive Chef
Prior to becoming a chef, Peter served in the United States Marine Corps. After his discharge from the Marines, Peter attended the New York Restaurant school in Manhattan. Upon graduating culinary school, He remained for several years in NYC working for some of the finest restaurants in NYC. In 1999 Peter left NYC to head to Williamstown, MA to be the Chef for Mezze Inc. Over the years Peter has worked at numerous Boutique Hotels & Inns throughout the Northeast, attaining 7 four Diamond Awards through AAA, 2 Conde Naste Gold list awards and a multitude of other accolades. Peter brings 32 years of experience to the team & the desire to create memorable Italian food experiences at Zio Roberto.
Nick Moulton, Executive Chef
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, Nick is an accomplished, ingredient driven chef who is passionate about local agriculture, serving the community and highlighting local foods in his cooking. Nick has been recognized for his recurring appearances on Food Network with Guy Fieri. His strong culinary perspective and on-camera presence has rendered him a two-time champion on Guy’s Grocery Games. He is an alumni of Mezze Restaurant Group, where he served as Executive Chef and Culinary Director through 2024 and has been a host chef of several dinners at the renowned James Beard Foundation. Nick’s cooking has been featured in several publications and cookbooks including the Berkshires Farm Table and Alice Water’s Truth, Love, and Clean Cutlery. Nick was born and raised in North Adams and currently resides in Clarksburg with his wife Kaley and their children, Greyson, Liam, and Millie.
Anh Phan, General Manager
A seasoned restaurant General Manager with over a decade of experience leading high-performing teams across the Boston dining scene, she brings a strong background in operations, service excellence, and team development.
Now joining a local Italian restaurant, she is excited to bring her expertise and leadership to a close-knit community setting. Passionate about hospitality, she is dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and delivering consistently exceptional service that leaves a lasting impression on every guest.
Ashley Vadnais, Asst. General Manager
An assistant general manager with a strong background in retail leadership, she brings valuable experience in team development, customer service, and day-to-day operations.
Known for her genuinely caring nature and bright personality, she leads with positivity, approachability, and a focus on supporting both guests and team members. She is excited to bring her energy and leadership style to the team, helping create a welcoming environment and a consistently excellent guest experience.
